Cathy brings over 20 years of experience to advise your child and family. She regularly visits schools and programs throughout the US to provide you the most comprehensive, up-to-date information possible. Her memberships in national and local organizations such as NATSAP, IECA and WISER, help her stay connected and informed.
Cathy will help your family determine the best alternative learning option for your child. Whether your child needs a boarding school, an independent support, and guidance you need to determine the day school, or a therapeutic placement, working with Cathy is best path for your child and your family.
Cathy has helped families with school placement while working in admissions at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary level. Cathy has worked at both boarding and day schools, including McLean School (MD), Lawrence Academy (MA), The Rectory School (CT) and The Berkshire Center for Independent Living (MA), now CIP. She also spent three years as the Principal of Town and Country School, a preschool and elementary school in Vienna, VA.
As a student, Cathy attended The Key School in Annapolis, MD and Lawrence Academy, Groton, MA. She holds a AB in Classics and Religion from Kenyon College. She is a member of WISER, and NATSAP Cathy, her husband Bill, and their Labrador retriever, Buoy live in Annapolis, MD.
