Founded in 1976, the Independent Educational Consultants Association is the nation’s largest and most recognized organization of IECs with over 2,000 members found in 30 countries.

WISER's goals are to improve educational services and promote child advocacy by providing comprehensive resources to children and parents in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland.

The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs serves as an advocate and resource for innovative organizations which devote themselves to society’s need for the effective care and education of struggling young people and their families.

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a professional association of educators dedicated to advancing the success of children and youth with exceptionalities.

The Small Boarding Schools Association establishes a forum for personal and professional dialogue, which promotes and supports small boarding schools.

A nonprofit organization, The Enrollment Management Association provides professional support and advocacy to the enrollment offices of more than 900 independent schools.
